On 29th january, dean of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Ph. D. Radoje Vujadinović spoke for the morning program of the Prva TV about the advantages of using electric vehicles in urban area. According to him, the greatest advantage of these vehicles is reflected in the zero emission of toxic components during their use, which is extremely important today and for Montenegro, where the problem of air pollution, caused by the operation of conventional road vehicle engines, is becoming more pronounced. Vujadinović explained that the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering has within its laboratory a charger for electric vehicles, as well as solar panels for the production of electricity, installed on the roof of the laboratory.
The dean also highlighted the efforts that the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is making to promote this topic through various activities, the most important of which are those implemented within the Erasmus Plus project PELMOB. On that occasion, he introduced the public in Montenegro to the goals and activities that are being implemented within the framework of this project.
